Los Angeles has a robust technology sector in the media and entertainment industry and a school system that prioritizes STEM but with a growing digital divide. Since 2023, TKH has partnered with local community organizations, schools and elected officials to reach the most underestimated populations. We currently have 9 team members based in Los Angeles.

This free, one-day event aims to empower young professionals and career changers interested in building tech skills for the workplace and beyond. Attendees will get hands-on practice with skills they can immediately introduce in their daily lives, such as data literacy and practical A.I. skills, while networking with community members and professionals. Attendees will have exclusive access to an in-person info session for the 2026 Innovation Fellowship, a free 12-month job training program that prepares participants for the competitive tech industry.

This 12-month program trains high school youth in foundational coding and design, explore STEM careers and complete industry-facing internships or apprenticeships.
Eligibility: Currently enrolled in high school as a sophomore, junior, or senior, be a resident of the New York City Metropolitan Area, Newark, Atlanta, Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area, or Los Angeles.
This 12-month program aims to serve 18+ adult job seekers from diverse backgrounds and trains them in 3 tracks: Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Web Development.
Eligibility: Ages 18+, household income under $60,000, and be a resident of the New York City Metropolitan Area, Newark, Atlanta, Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area, or Los Angeles.
