The Karim Kharbouch Coding Fellowship

Eligibility: Currently enrolled in high school as a sophomore, junior, or senior, lives in the New York City Metropolitan Area, Newark, Atlanta, Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area, or Los Angeles. 

​The Knowledge House is seeking high school youth interested in learning code and design skills! The Karim Kharbouch Coding Fellowship (KKCF) is cofounded by Hip Hop Artist French Montana and supports youth interested in STEM.

Commitment Snapshot (Applications are currently closed for 2025.)

  • This is a Virtual, 12-month program that begins in Summer 2026.
  • Commit 16 hours per week to the 6-week summer phase.
  • Commit 2 hours per month for the 2026-2027 academic year for college access and career-readiness workshops.

The Innovation Fellowship

Eligibility: Ages 18+, household income under $60,000 (or $55,000 for Atlanta), and lives in the New York City Metro Area, Newark, Atlanta, Los Angeles, or the Baltimore–Washington Metro Area.

Launched in 2020, The Innovation Fellowship prepares motivated adult learners from diverse backgrounds for high-growth tech careers. No prior tech experience is required. Fellows gain hands-on training, career exposure, and community support while learning foundational skills in one of three tracks: Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or AI Business Solutions.

Commitment Snapshot (Applications are currently open)

  • This is a 6-month hybrid program starting in early 2026
  • Fellows commit 12–13 hours per week, including live virtual classes and independent learning, Monday through Thursday

Digital Literacy Programs

TKH’s Digital Literacy Programs address the growing demand for accessible digital skills training to help individuals succeed in today’s tech-driven job market by creating opportunities for learners to build essential digital skills for the workplace and beyond.

As part of this initiative, TKH hosts Tech Empowerment Days —free, one-day workshops for young professionals and career changers. Participants get hands-on practice with tech skills they can immediately introduce in their daily lives, ranging from data literacy to cybersecurity to digital collaboration tools like Google Suite to emerging technologies like AI. They learn about the tech industry landscape, network with industry experts, and hear from panelists with nontraditional pathways into tech. The workshops foster community-building, encouraging participants to ask questions, take risks, explore new career possibilities, and leave with valuable knowledge, connections, and next steps.
